About Us

Welcome to Gosling Gothware

Welcome to Gosling Gothware, where the allure of goth and steampunk converge to ignite your imagination. Owner Helen Gosling, who has spent her life between the UK and Australia, was deeply influenced by the ‘New Romantic’ movement. Since then she has been drawn to the goth style, and later the steampunk scene.

Gosling Gothware was originally established in 2015, as a brick and mortar store in beautiful Deloraine, Tasmania, as as an experimental space for people to explore their own vision of steampunk, gothic, alternative and fantasy styles. Since then, we have expanded into the online space, launching an online store to share our eclectic array of treasures more widely.

We welcome a diverse clientele spanning all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re a traditionalist or a trendsetter, our curated collection promises to captivate your imagination.

Visit Us

If you love our online store, we invite you to visit us in person. Our in-store range is even broader than our extensive online range.

Jack The Ripper Experience

For those with an interest in the macabre, we invite you to check out our Jack The Ripper experience. Our resident Jack The Ripper expert, Gordon has created  a spooky Jack the Ripper Alleyway complete with  life-sized Whitechapel characters, Jack the Ripper memorabilia, a victim board, letters from hell, scale models of the murder sites, and a suspects wall where you can read about the many (many!) suspects.

Tours with Gordon are available between 10:00am and 4:00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.
